Do you regularly have to change the TFTP settings on your Cisco IP Communicator client as you travel from one site to another? As a Systems Engineer for a network integrator I know I must change mine half a dozen times a week, and I got tired of having to open the application, go into the preferenences, change the settings and wait for it to try and register to the servers I just provided.
To get around this inconvenience I wrote an application that reads the current TFTP settings, displays them and gives you an opportunity to modify them before the CIPC application is launched.
It also stores as many profiles as you need to allow quick access to
regularly used CallManager clusters.
If you have any problems using this tool, or any recommendations for improving it please feel free to email me at adman@adman.net.
